Waiting for the PS3

Covered in plastic tarps and tents, a crowd of gamers braved the snow Thursday waiting outside of Target to get their hands on the highly anticipated Playstation 3.

Across town at Meijer, a group of six MSU students waited inside. Seated on metal chairs, they played monopoly and munched on homemade cookies waiting for their games. Meijer had six and since they were the first six to show up they are guaranteed the costly consoles.

The PS3s retail for $500 or $600 a piece, but prices on eBay soared above the $2000 mark late Thursday afternoon. The people we spoke with planned on selling the games.
