A breakthrough in a Jackson County Cold Case.
Kelly Harris disappeared from her Summit Township home 22 years ago. Now Leonard Hugall, her step-father, has finally admitted to sexually assaulting, killing and burying the 13-year-old.
He was a person of interest at the time of her disappearance.
Hugall is currently serving a 50-year sentence in Florida for the rape of a mother and her daughter.
He confessed to Harris's murder, but will remain in a Florida prison.
Efforts are underway to recover the girl's remains based on information provided by Hugall.
