Mid-Michigan Memorial Day Parades

There are plenty of local events that are providing family fun on this Memorial Day.

A special ceremony honoring soldiers is taking place in Mason at 8 a.m. Monday morning.
That's happening on the Ingham County Courthouse Square.
The names of soldiers from Ingham County will be read.
A parade follows at 9:30 a.m, stepping off on West Oak Street.

Eaton Rapids annual parade begins at 11 a.m. Monday.
That ends with a special service at the Grand Army Republic Memorial Park.

Grab your American flags to wave during Holt's Memorial Day Parade.
It starts at 2 p.m. Monday.
The parade route will travel from Holt Road to Aurelius Road, ending at the Delhi Memorial Gardens with a short ceremony.

In Jackson County's Spring Arbor Township, the annual parade starts at 1 p.m.
The parade route begins at the corner of Ogle and M-60.

Also today, Lake Lansing Park South is having a free day.
There's free admission to the boat launch, free row boats, pedal boats and popcorn and snow cones.
The park is open until sunset.

    What about Veterans Memorial Service in Spring Arbor at noon on township lawn?
