Dr. Park is an outstanding Dr. he is caring and compassionate and has cganged my life, I love my Doctor and shame on all of you who try to pin the blame on a Dr. whom is such a remakable man. If anyone abused any prescrition then that was there decision to do so, you are just looking for some one to take the fall for the mistakes of stupid people who abuse drugs shame on all of you, he is just a wonderful man and Doctor who served his community well, how can anyone blame him for some one abusing any drugs, it is a horrible thing to pin on a remakable man who cares about and loves his patients, and community. How unfortunate that you all are looking for a scapegoat, what a shame, you should all be ashamed of yourselves. You need to look alot deeper into those people who abused drugs on THERE own account. Dr. Park has changed my life and helped me through so much he is a remakable Dr. and an upstanding citazen , Dr. and man, what an outrage to use him as a scapegoat, it is just sickening

I have to comment on the statement that it would not make the news if it wasn't true. Obviously you have never been involved in an investigation. There was a story years ago about an organization and how badly it treated their client. A lawsuit was filed and the government came in and sequestered all of the records. When everything was completed and it went to court; the organization was in violation of paying a bill for the client for services she she was not currently receiving. Cable service. If the paper always prints everything that is true then we can dissolve our court system; and go by the paper; TV stations and other media to determine guilt and then sentence accordinly. This would definitely save the taxpayers money.

ive been a patient of one of these practices for many years. i was never given much needed pain and nervious disorder meds until i was throughly evaluated, gone thruogh all possible tests, and ruled out all other options. the meds are much needed for the conditions i suffer from and helpme to live with the disableing conditions i have. people with chronic pain suffer not only the insult of being accused of being 'drug seekers', but struggle to live normal lives. my dr. is a good dr who understands that without my meds,i would suffer horribly. imagine what life is like to wake up ( if you even slept) every day and feel like youve been beaten with a ball bat! and to be so stressed you clench your teeth until they break. there is no cure for what i have so far. these drs are being railroaded, sombody wants to make some revenue from them. this county has gone to hell. i can only hope to god this shame will be undone. it makes me sicker than i already am. another sad day for americans

Wow, Anonymous! Vicodin AND valium! I'm surprised you can still type! What's your doctor's name? Maybe we should turn him/her in to the County!

Just because a patient asks for a medication does not mean the doctor should write for them. They need to use their education and common sense to justify writing any medication. I have seen many doctors get patients addicted to pain medications because they will write for anything that the patient asks for. This story would not have made news if it wasn't true. Remember doctors are just normal people that have been to school longer. It doesn't mean that they are more moral, have more common sense, or are better than anyone else.

It's always a shame whenever this happen, for whatever reason. I have vicodin and vallium that I take only as needed. But whenever I need a refill (about once a year) I feel like I am on trial. Doctors are afraid of prescribing pain medicine because of this kind of thing, and therefore many patients suffer.

I went to Dr Cotey for over 10 yrs and loved him until his pain killing medication nearly killed me. I also noticed on several occassions my BCBS being billed for services not received and me personally being charged the difference. Each time I questioned his billing clerk I was promised the charges would be looked into. But the bills contined. The billing was especially demanding after I had to be hospitalized then refused to return to Cotey's office for further care. By several hospital Dr's in 5 different hositals in 3 1/2 months I was told he'd overmedicated me with several narcotics. When asked by Dr Cotey's office to send my records to my new Dr, it took months. When they were finally recieved my new Dr was unable to read any of the records because they were shrunk so drastically in order to get several pages of office calls crowded on to a single sheet of paper. I'm now bankrupt because of the medical bills he's caused me.

I am not defending the doctors; but there are many patients out there who will go from doctor to doctor trying to get narcotics. Patients don't understand the consequences; but they often will be demanding and even threatening toward the care givers because of their addiction. Many of these patients believe they are entitled to these pain mediations and because they want them the doctors must prescribe them. We don't know the whole story yet; so don't assume the doctors are guilty until they have had their day in court.

I am shocked that Dr. Huff is one of the ones arrested. I wouldnt pass judgment on any of these doctors so fast...you can ruin a reputation and they could be innocent. Investigators are trying to do a job but you have to wait to see the evidence as it is or what they try to make what they see as their evidence. You cant always believe everything you hear from anyone..investigator or not.

Well if they did or are doing wrong then they need to get what is coming to them they are no better than anyone else.
