Michigan Unemployment
(Lansing-AP) Regional unemployment rates are up in most labor markets.

Jobless rates in nearly all of Michigan's major labor markets increased in July.
State officials released the figures Thursday.
There were increases in 10 of the 12 markets. The Flint area had an 11.9-percent unemployment rate in July. That's up from 9.7-percent in June.
Unemployment in the Upper Peninsula and the northeast Lower Michigan region declined in July.
Unemployment in the state was 7.4-percent in July.
