Students at one Lansing school can't wait to spend time in their library thanks to a Detroit sports team.

The Pistons completely renovated the Lewton Elementary library, as part of the NBA Cares and Read to Achieve initiatives.

Pistons guard Lindsey Hunter, Governor Jennifer Granholm, Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero and others helped unveil the center. It features new books, computers, furniture, a mural and a sports reading corner.

The school also started its reading program using Pistons' tickets as an incentive.
