MSU Star Brad Van Pelt Dies
Suffers heart attack.

Michigan State University star athlete Brad Van Pelt died suddenly Tuesday. It is believed he suffered a heart attack.
Van Pelt graduated from MSU in 1972. The Owosso native was a football great and went on to play 14 years in the NFL, primarily with the New York Giants.
In addition to football, Van Pelt also played basketball and baseball for the Spartans.
Van Pelt was 57 years old.
Earlier reports that he died in California were incorrect.
