Pre-screening took up most of Monday morning with the list narrowed down from 185 to 78 by the time the potential jurors were ushered into the courtroom. Another 50 people, from a second separate group, are on standby.
Sixteen people, eight men and eight women, made it to the jury box Monday afternoon. One by one they were sent back behind closed doors to be questioned individually. By the day's end, five had yet to be questioned. Jury selection resumes Tuesday.
