East Lansing Police say they believe a hit and run accident on Tuesday morning appears to be intentional.
Twenty-two year-old Lansing resident Jessie Ellena was struck by a car while using the crosswalk at the intersection of Abott and Albert in East Lansing.
Police say it happened around two in the morning after an altercation at Rick's American Cafe. Witnesses say the suspect vehicle did not stop after striking Ellena.
Authorities say they do have some partial license plate numbers, but so far the leads have led to a dead end. Ellena was transported to Sparrow Hospital with serious injuries and is currently in fair condition.
