A problem with the seat belt in some 2009 vehicles is prompting GM to issue a recall.
The affected vehicles include the Buick Enclave, the Chevrolet Traverse, the GMC Acadia and the Saturn Outlook.
The buckle may be missing a rivet and could separate from the mounting in a crash.
Dealers will inspect and replace the buckles
Visit gmownercenter.com or call Buick (800-608-8080), Chevrolet (800-630-2438), GMC (866-996-9463) or Saturn (800-972-8876).

Where were the seatbelts made? China probably.

These are the vehicles built at one of the newest and most modern GM Plants in the country. I guess the inspector was asleep at the wheel. Maybe they were tired from all the overtime they had to work before they shut down for the month. How much is this going to cost GM? Doesn't matter the taxpayer is paying the tab on this one.

This is so lame. They want us to believe that they're making strides in improving the quality of these cars and they can't even properly assemble a seat belt? It's so sad. I feel bad for all the people of Michigan who will have to pay for GM's, Ford's and Chrysler's idiotic management.
