MEAP Test Scores Delayed

An out of state company is being paid $52 million to deliver MEAP test scores but because of a "computer glitch" the release will be delayed. A spokesperson for the State Board of Education says there is no effort to conceal the scores.

The state chamber of commerce says the delay is "unacceptable" and the president of the state board says she will look into imposing a penalty on the company.

Educators say it would be better if teachers could go over the scores with their students before they leave on summer break.
