NASCAR speeds into Brooklyn for the last time this year this weekend, and thousands of fans will be there for the action. But if you think M.I.S. is just a big race track, think again. It’s also a big campground.
"We're actually the largest registered campground in Michigan," says Bill Janitz, MIS Public Relations Director. He says as many as 30 thousand people will be camping at the race track's more than 8,000 campsites, all of which are sold out.
Campers stay busy with tail gating fun. Plus, there is food, souvenir shopping, and the chance to stake out race-way entrances for the chance for an autograph.
While campsites are sold out, tickets for the races are still available. For more information on tickets, click on our "As Seen On Ten Link."
