Last Friday a Police Officer found two garbage bags full of cell phone chargers and plastic packaging in a dumpster behind a DeWitt Township gas station.
Some 25-35 cell phones were missing and the investigation has now been turned over to the FBI. Chief of Police Brian Russell says while there's no suspected terror activity the incident is being taken very seriously. A spokesperson for the FBI can neither confirm nor deny what News Ten has learned.
Just last week three men from Texas were arrested in Tuscola County, suspected of terrorism after authorities found large quantities of pre-paid cell phones in their possession.
