A new rule could save you the hassle of getting repeated telemarketing calls.
The Federal Trade Commission is now requiring robocalls from businesses or charities to include ways to cut off the call and opt-out of future ones.
Consumers are supposed to be protected from unsolicited calls if they are on the national "Do Not Call" list.
However, calls are permitted from businesses they have relationships with and from legitimate charities.
