Congressman Mike Rogers presented Joseph Filko with fifteen medals and ribbons at a ceremony today in Lansing.

Filko is a World War II veteran. He served as a U.S. Marine for twenty years.

The vet says he will always appreciate the soldiers protecting our country.

After Filko left the marines, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for twenty years.
