I think it this is crazy. How much do they really know about melamine? Besides that its deadly. And what is safe amounts. As far as I am concerned no amount is safe thiss issue needs to be addressed. I have a 5 month old am I poising my child? I wish we could get more answers to make sure I am feeding my child a safe formula.

I find this article very interesting. How much melamine is acceptable? My niece lost her 9 month old son in October, and the FDA has been very slow about getting back to her about the suspect formula. This perfectly healthy baby drank two bottles of a Costco generic brand formula. Two days later he was dead. Her phone calls to the FDA went unanswered until she threatened to go public with the possibility that this formula might have been tainted. The FDA finally agreed to meet and talk with her. Now her phone calls to them continue to go unanswered. Did they find anything? Do they suspect that this formula might have been tainted? What are they going to do about it? How many babies' lives might be cut short if they continue to do nothing?
