The extreme temperatures are draining Michigan's blood supply.

Many blood drives have been canceled due to the heat and fewer people are donating in general.

The American Red Cross says critical blood types "O" positive and "O" negative are at a very dangerous level.

The Red Cross needs your help with blood donations!

To be eligible to donate- you must be 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health.
