One thing that would help the system is if people would quit using emergency rooms as family doctors. Emergency Depts are for emergencys. Some people think that since they have medicaid its okay to come to the emergency room for every little thing that is wrong with them because they are not the ones that have to pay for it. Its the tax payers that have to pay for it.
Why are the people at Medicaid so rude? they made me feel like a begger.I once sat where they are setting, maybe they should't get to cocky, they may be sighing up one day soon themselves.
good idea to let the isurance co,collapse, along with everything else ,and just start over like first michiganders, duhhh!
I sure hope the people on the phone at Medicaid, get alot better at giving caring customer support. By the looks of it the Medicaid people are going to be getting even more calls requesting their service in the near future. WILX should try to get a Medicaid rep on the phone and see what it takes to get approved. It is no walk in the park. And most people that answer the phones are extremely rude.
A collapse may be what is need to correct the health/insurance industry. The insurance companies need to be shocked to cut back on service and provide disaster aid. The health service needs to focus on basic health care and not large services.
