The Journey of Hope's North Team biked into Lansing Sunday from Kalamazoo. The group which consists of 21 bikers and 6 crew members have been traveling across the country since June 11th. They started in San Francisco and plan on ending their journey with the South Team and Trans America Team on August 12th.
Journey of Hope is an annual bike trek to raise money for people with disabilities. During the course of the ride, Pi Kapps have had friendship meetings with those who are disabled. Each cyclist also raised at least $5,000 before the trip, equaling to about $500,000. The Journey of Hope began in 1977.
