Most couples spend thousands of dollars on the wedding of their dreams. One Lansing couple could get theirs for free. D'Quarius Stewart and Morgane Black are one of seven couples picked to compete during the seventh year of the Today Show's "Today Throws a Wedding" segment.
Morgane's mom told them about the contest. They sent in a two minute tape, an application and just last week were notified they had made the cut. The pair will make their first live appearance on the Today Show next Wednesday.
The seven couples will compete in a seven week challenge. The winning couple will have their wedding planned by Today Show viewers in seven days. The New York nuptials will be broadcast live on October 6.
