An intersection closure is causing headaches for a mid-Michigan hospital.
The intersection at Michigan and Pennsylvania Avenues was shut down Monday. Cars and trucks won't be able to get through for about three weeks due to construction of the combined sewer overflow project.
During that time, Sparrow Hospital signs are posted along the detour routes to help patients and visitors find their way inside.
Road crews are working 24-hours a day, seven days a week to complete intersection construction as quickly as possible.
