The only thing Tim Walberg and Mark Schauer can seem to agree on is that the race for the 7th district congressional seat has been a long process...
"I know voters are getting tired of being asked how they're going to vote and being reminded to vote," Schauer says.
"The issue is being hard fought and it's been an aggressive campaign," Walberg says.
And with just two days to go, the candidates are making the final push to get out their messages, and whether that be by phone or going door to door, Schauer and Walberg want voters to notice their differences.
Walberg says the most important issue is how Michigan's government is run...
" With limited government there's more opportunity for individual citizens to be creative, to use their genius to produce things and ultimately as they take risks, they benefit," Walberg says.
Schauer says the economy will be number one on his agenda, should he be elected.
"I'm going to wake up everyday fighting to turn Michigan's economy around and rebuild the economy from the ground up," Schauer says.
And of course no interview between the two candidates would be complete without them telling everyone why the other shouldn't be elected.
"What we've been swimming against is this tide of unfair trade that's cost us hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs...this mentality that we need less regulation," Schauer says.
"The candidate that has chosen to run against me charted the course for tax increases being the key proponent for the governor increasing the tax in this state," Walberg says.
But those disagreements will be put to rest in just two days when voters finally decide who's the victor.
