Monday was the last day of work for most of the 500 workers at Harvard Industries Foundry in Albion.
The automotive casting plant decided to close after losing its business relationship with Visteon, it's largest client.
Harvard's employees made up more than 10 percent of Albion's workforce.
The city has already lost more than 300 jobs with the closing of Trillium Hospital, a K-Mart and a private school.
