A warrant has been issued for 33-year-old Sherry Ley of Jackson.
Her son died on June 15 when the SUV Ley was driving spun out of control on Pope Church Road in Springport. Ley's 10-year-old was thrown out and killed.
Investigators say Ley's alcohol level was above legal limits at the time of the accident.
Jackson County prosecutors says she'll face charges ranging from operating under the influence to second-degree murder.
