According to Dale Dandurand of Lansing BMW, "It's not about selling cars. It's about raising awareness for a wonderful cause, the cure for breast cancer and raising money for the cure and research of breast cancer."
So Christine Pearson of the Susan G. Komen Foundation says, for every mile you put on the odometer during your drive, one dollar is added towards the breast cancer foundation.
"We are getting much closer to the word cure. We just are. There are researchers out there who go unfunded every year that might have the answer and this money will definitely help us get closer."
The BMW of Lansing in Okemos is gearing up for the 10th Annual Ultimate Drive, a fundraiser benefiting breast cancer research. All the public has to do is simply test drive a vehicle and BMW donates the cash. So breast cancer survivors like Kelly Feinberg are asking people to come out.
"I don't have the power to find a cure. But I do have the power to raise money so that we can find the cure and that's just a wonderful, wonderful thing."
