Nissan is recalling nearly 100,000 vehicles.
The automaker is recalling 97,000 of it's 2006 Altima and Sentra models with 2.5 liter engines.
Officials say they've received reports of excessive oil consumption and about two dozen notices of engine fires.
Nissan has ordered dealerships to stop selling the cars, while it figures out the problem.
