Harsher Penalties for Smoking Marijuana and Driving

A person who smokes marijuana and drives can face the same charges as those who drive under the influence of alcohol.

Under a new state Supreme Court ruling it's now easier to prosecute those drivers.

If a chemical produced by marijuana is found in the body, the person will be considered intoxicated.
