The Detroit Lions have agreed to terms with 17 undrafted free agents.

They include Michigan defensive tackle Shawn Lazarus, Western Michigan receiver Jermaine Lewis and Grand Valley State quarterback Curt Anes.

All 17 are expected to before a three-day minicamp starts Friday.

Lazarus made 63 tackles, including eight for losses and four sacks with the Wolverines.

Lewis started at strong safety for two years with the Broncos before switching to receiver. He made 38 receptions for 654 yards and four touchdowns last season.

Anes won the Harlon Hill Trophy, given to the top Division-Two player.

He led the Lakers to a national championship, throwing for 3,692 yards and 47 touchdowns last fall.
