A 16-year-old murder case is now in the hands of an Ingham County jury.

Forty-four-year-old David Drahiem of Holt is accused of killing Jeanette Kirby in June of 1986. Her body was found in a wooded area in Delhi Township. The jury began deliberating the case Thursday.

Charges were finally brought against Drahiem last year after state and local detectives linked the suspect to the crime with a pair of plastic handcuffs used to restrain the victim.
