You are asked to set out a bag of food by the mail box Saturday for the annual letter carrier's food drive.
Your mail carrier will pick up canned and dry goods, when dropping off your mail. It's all part of a national food drive that helps provide food to needy families here in Michigan, and across the country.
Postal customers are asked to have non-perishable goods ready by 9 a.m. before their mail carrier arrives.
All the food will be delivered to local food banks and pantries.
