This story is very sad, to think that these poor deer were infected by a disease that was probably carried in by some foreign source. I hope it is an ISOLATED incident. I dont think I ever realized that there were places that raised deer to be turned out for HUNTING PURPOSES. Anytime MAN gets involved with NATURE, there always seems to be some sort of CATASTROPHE happening. Why cant we leave well enough alone and stop farming out deer to be shot and killed. Let nature take it's course and let man stay out of the process. Thought their were an over population of deer to begin with. I HONESTLY never knew that deer were being raised for this!

Were any of these deer brought in from out of state? I know of Wisconsin having problems with CWD but was wondering if there was some kind of connection or if it just showed up somehow.

Will a report be given if NO have the problem.OR was this a masacure of innocent animals.50 may not seem to be alot but with all the hungry out there they could of been processed and helped many.If humans were treated like animals when ill, just because something spreads?man and his jump to conclusions. If man can't control something, fix it,understand it,the answer is KILL.If this problem is in mich, has it spread or was it ONE case?Guess we will never know.
