A man was just days away from getting out of prison, but now because of some letters he wrote, a state prison inmate could be locked up for life.
David Moorman is currently serving time for a kidnapping at a prison near Traverse City. He was writing letters to an inmate at the Jackson Prison, in which he detailed plans to kidnap, rape, torture, and murder women once he was released.
Those letters led to a conviction on several solicitation charges.
Moorman faces life behind bars when he is sentenced next month.
