MSU Police: Two People in Custody After Spartan Stadium Bomb Threat

East Lansing (WILX) Two people are in MSU police custody after being questioned about a bomb threat made against Spartan Stadium, Wednesday. They could be arraigned as early as Thursday afternoon.

The stadium, the attached tower, the track and the Central Services Garage were evacuated Wednesday afternoon. Police and bomb sniffing dogs searched the buildings, but found nothing suspicious.

The phoned threat came in about 3:15pm.

All workers were allowed to return to the buildings and all roads were opened by 5:00 p.m.

Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor tells News 10 the report on the investigation should be completed, Wednesday night, and sent to the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office the next day.
