Democrat Barack Obama's plan to bring the debate over gas prices straight to the pumps hit a roadblock today.
What sounded like a great way to reach a captive audience as they pumped $4-a-gallon gas into their cars crashed when the Michigan company that sells spots on gas pump TVs said no.
Gas Station TV is based in Oak Park, and chief executive David Leider says it was considering running campaign ads on the mini-televisions.
But Leider says it decided against doing so after seeing Obama's ad, which says the candidate will seek policies that lower gas consumption.

Itsint funny how fast pepol seem to forget the past, seems to me that about four years ago that Obomo voted for the Bush energy plan. Look at his voting record in the house, now hes got the guts to slam Bush and Macain on dilling and energy production in this nation. Can anyone spell hipocrite I can its spelled OBAMA, good job to this company for taking a stand and saying no, shows that not all companys are evil mony grubing as Dems would have you to belive.

GOOD! I dont think it is fair for a company to endorse any candidate! With a mix of different Party members both using the gas stations, it wouldnt be right to take and endorse on political party! Good news!
