UPDATE: Tanker Removed from I-96

The left lane of EB I-96 is still closed, but all other lanes and ramps have reopened at the I-96/U.S. 127 interchange. Ingham County deputies tell wilx.com the tanker that rolled over Monday morning has been removed from the eastbound lanes of I-96. The highway was closed for several hours after a tanker carrying liquid asphalt rolled over and started leaking. The truck driver and the driver of another vehicle were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Stay with News 10 and wilx.com for updates.
