Ingham County Prosecutor Stuart Dunnings suspended an Assistant Prosectuor, Allie Phillips, on February 28, 2003.
That's because Ingham County Animal Shelter representatives alleged she was somehow involved in removing a cat from the Ingham County Animal Shelter under false pretenses, possible to prevent it from being sold for research purposes.
The Attorney General's office will not file criminal charges against Phillips. However, the Ingham County prosecutor is still reviewing her conduct.
Phillips' attorney says she is ready to put this behind her and start working again.
