Agree with Lansing considering a ban on scooters and wish the state would make it a "state wide" ban. Traveling US12 in our area is enough of a daily hazard then it is compounded daily as more and more persons take to the road with these scooters. Are they regulated for road use the same as a motorcyle and if not why are they being allowed to be ridden everywhere? No new laws need be added for the halting of them it might just be that the "on the books " laws would do the trick if they were enforced. Our political people and law makers are too quick to add new laws when we have thousands on the books which work just fine when enforced.
