Woman Dies After Car Accident. Save Email Print

A Lansing woman has died from injuries she received after a car accident Thursday in Delta Township.
Virginia Erdoes, 91, and her husband were hit from behind while driving on Thursday afternoon on Saginaw Highway.
Both were taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The Eaton County Sheriff's Office says Erdoes died on Friday.
The condition of her husband wasn't immediately available.
The accident is under investigation.

Agree with Lansing considering a ban on scooters and wish the state would make it a "state wide" ban. Traveling US12 in our area is enough of a daily hazard then it is compounded daily as more and more persons take to the road with these scooters. Are they regulated for road use the same as a motorcyle and if not why are they being allowed to be ridden everywhere? No new laws need be added for the halting of them it might just be that the "on the books " laws would do the trick if they were enforced. Our political people and law makers are too quick to add new laws when we have thousands on the books which work just fine when enforced.
