MARION TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -- Livingston County sheriff's officials are investigating the death of a 2-month old boy.
Sheriff Bob Bezotte tells WHMI-FM the death happened Friday afternoon in Marion Township, about 45 miles west-northwest of Detroit.
Bezotte says investigators originally thought the baby and his mother were sleeping on a couch when she accidentally rolled over onto him. But he says they no longer believe that's what happened, since the woman and baby were on opposite ends of the couch.
Autopsy results are expected Saturday.
