Some Michigan school teachers will head to Taiwan to study and to teach. It is part of a teacher exchange agreement between the state superintendent of public instruction and the Taiwanese ministry of education.
The deal allows for up to 15 Michigan teachers to go to Taiwan. More details of the program will be announced on March 23.
The two sides will meet at the John Hannah Building in Lansing to sign the joint memorandum of understanding.
