When many people go to the drugstore to buy over the counter medications or prescription drugs, they don't bother to talk to the pharmacist. But experts like, Sparrow Hospital pharmacist, Curtis Smith say that's a bad idea.
"People should talk to their pharmacist more than they do because a lot of times when they get a prescription, they aren't very educated on the details. Plus, they can tell you and help you figure out whether a particular product will act with other drugs, and give you an idea if the drug will be beneficial or harmful."
So it's important to get to know the person behind the counter, even if it takes a little more time out of your pharmacy visit.
