Teen Drinking On The Rise
Some parents will tell you teenage drinking isn't a big deal... as long as they're not driving. Police would disagree vehemently with that theory and they have the numbers to back it up.

I know alot of thoes parents. No my kids can not be around them.Maybe more parents need snitched on and new laws need put in place. How many allow kids to smoke under 18?Enough.Some parents say let them get it out of their system.Ok,go to the morgue to ID you childs body. Can't happen:Oh but it can.How many parents call their kids where they are to be or go there to see if there in a differnt condition than should be.Makes the kids made but let them see one of thoes burnt bodies in a morgue as the car burst into flames and there was no getting out.Passed out or not thinking right, some scared for life or hanicap for life.Think are you going to be a real parent and stop kids from this or that?Or try to be a friendly drinker to your kids and not make them mad at you for saying no way?I rather have kids alive and mad at me,then dead or worse. They get over it and grow up to thank you,Then don't ask why am I a drunk. Can happen.think about it.

I know that in our town, some parents are suppling the alcohol for kids. They see no problem with what they are doing. If the kids are at their house, feel free to drink. These parents are not at all ashamed of what they are doing either. They talk about it freely. I was asked if my daughter was drinking and I said no, they couldn't believe it. I was told "All the kids are drinking, sometimes my daughter tells me that she isn't going to drink tonite." This parent was fine with the situation and her daughter is in high school.

That is the problem parents wanting to be friends with the child not a parent.
