State Superintendent of Public Instruction Mike Flanagan tells News 10 Michigan school districts won't have to foot the bill to re-review a list of school employees with criminal backgrounds.
Two judges blocked the first list from being released because there are too many inaccuracies.
Flanagan says that list did take 12 potentially dangerous employees out of Michigan schools.
He says under a new agreement, the Michigan State Police will re-review the list. Flanagan expects details of that agreement to be released Friday.
