PONTIAC, Mich. (AP) -- A suburban Detroit man is suing Eminem, claiming the rapper punched him in the bathroom of a strip club.
The Detroit News reports that Miad Jarbou of Royal Oak seeks more than 25,000 dollars in damages in the suit filed Thursday. It claims Eminem punched him on July 13, 2006 at Cheetah's On the Strip, a topless club in Detroit.
Eminem spokesman Dennis Dennehy declined to comment on the lawsuit.
Cheetah's is located on the south side of Eight Mile Road, the border between Detroit and the northern suburbs made famous by Eminem's hit 2002 film "8 Mile."
