Police in western Michigan have released more details from an investigation of a double shooting that left two men dead at an Ionia County car wash.

Teri Pullum, the wife of one victim, told police that Robert Taylor was driving so close to their car that she couldn't see his bumper. She didn't know why Taylor was tailgating.

Taylor and James Pullum pulled into a car wash on Sept. 18, confronted each other and then fatally shot each other. Pullum was shot first. Ionia public safety chief Troy Thomas tells the Sentinel-Standard for a story Friday that police don't know why Taylor hit the gas to catch Pullum's car.
