Lansing police are looking for a slim, white male in his early twenties. They believe he may have knowledge about the woman who was murdered in her Gier Street home Thursday afternoon.

Police found Valarie Mills murdered, with severe wounds, in her home in North Lansing Thursday. Now police say a man who was in the neighborhood might have seen something and know more about the crime.

The man they are looking for is approximately six feet tall with short blond hair. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. He has a slim build and no facial hair.

Police believe he may have been driving a 1980s four-door sedan with a Navy blue roof and a Royal blue body. They say the bottom color of the car is not factor painted.

Anyone with information should call 483-4591 (Det. McManus), 483-4484 (Det. Christy) or Crime Stoppers at 483-STOP.
