Jill Carroll is appealing for her supporters to do whatever it takes to win her release.

The kidnapped American journalist from Ann Arbor is seen in a video shown today on a private Kuwaiti TV channel.

Carroll says: "I am here. I am fine. Please just do whatever they want, give them whatever they want as quickly as possible."

She gives the date as February second.

The 28-year-old freelance reporter for The Christian Science Monitor was kidnapped January seventh in Baghdad. She appeared in two previous videotapes, both shown on Al-Jazeera television.
