Jackson Police are investigating the death of a 46-year-old man, after his body was found in a trash bin behind a Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Police say they were called to KFC on N. West Ave. around nine in the morning on Monday. The body was discovered by a Great Lakes Waste Services employee.
Authorities say it's unclear if the man was homeless and succumbed to the extreme cold.
Great Lakes Waste Services in Adrian says it's an unfortunate situation. Police say on the surface, there seems to be no suspicion of foul play.
Police are continuing with their investigation and say they will know more when the autopsy results are returned.
