Researchers from the University of Michigan report that the Avian Flu has not invaded Michigan, but Dr. Mark Wilson says it not an issue of if, but when it will hit here. "It's only a matter of time," he tells a group of state senators and public health officials at a briefing in Lansing.

On the top of the inevitability of the potentially deadly disease, Wilson explains there is no vaccine to prevent it and if one is discovered, it could take up to six months to bring it to market, and by that time it could be useless in that the Bird Flu virus is changing all the time.
