Clean up has begun at the Grand Ledge Church of the Nazarene. It's one of four Grand Ledge churches - including the Pentecostal Church of God, the Grand Ledge Church of the Nazarene, the First United Methodist Church and the Grand Ledge Baptist Church - facing tens of thousands of dollars in damages after vandals ripped through their places of worship late Wednesday or early Thursday morning.

Churches are vacuuming up glass shards, repairing Bibles, stained glass windows and other broken glass. Meanwhile, the police say an investigation is underway.

Eaton County and the Grand Ledge police departments are working together to solve the crime. They say they believe more than one person was involved in the vandalism. Authorities say they found evidence that alcohol was involved.

Officials are asking anyone with information about the crime to contact the police department.
