Lansing police say the driver of a school bus that rear-ended a car on W. Jolly Rd. is at fault, and a student involved in the accident is nursing internal injuries.
The Lansing School District says they are launching an investigation into the bus accident.
Three people were cared for at Sparrow Hospital including two students following the crash. One student is still at Sparrow Hospital and under observation according to police.
Six students were on the bus at the time of the crash.
According to Mark Mayes, spokesperson for Lansing Schools, the bus driver was put on a 24-hour administrative leave of absence.
